Struggling to get limestone grit for rations.

I'm puzzled as to why the particular grades though?

Is it to help grind food in the gizzard? Oyster shell will do for that job.

If it's to help with eggshell and bones? then flour will do just as well.

We do a lot of Limestone and have had a huge amount of new business come on because other people seem to be struggling.

What we have in stock is possibly too fine for what he wants as all ours goes into ruminants.

Trouw will most likely use the tarmac quarry... is the proper name for what he uses number 4 grit and number 6 grit? What packaging and quantity does he normally take?

I think he always has it in 25kg bags, tonnes at a time.
