Stubble chitting

Hi Ive switched to gd weaving drill and have been using a sumo straw rake to try and get our stubble to chit infront of the drill with varying results.
Main problem with the rake is when the balers leave a bit of straw and the rake drags it all to the headland
I’ve tried a heva disc roller but it seems a bit over kill for the job it wants to dig in too much to make a job where’s I want to run it light as possible
What are other people using to chit with and move as little soil as possible ??

We had a Vaderstad crosscutter on demo last week and it did a very good job and is ideal for a chit. We have a straw rake and find it does little to disturb chaff and like you found it just drags any poorly chopped straw around and eventually rolls it up in a heap!
