Stupid question about a soakaway

So I build a soakaway from yard. Pipe from drain to big hole part filled with rubble, chuck terram on the top and fill back up? Feels like that's how to do it....
But will I now be able to drive machinery over it once its settled? And what if in 10 years time its in the way and I want to concrete it over, can I? Think these are somewhat stupid questions so be kind please.

Would have thought best not drive over it. More compacted it becomes the less water capacity it will have. - so more likely to flood at times of the year when soaking away is slow . Unless anyone knows different

It sounds like one of those "it all depends" questions. Whether the soakaway will work or not will depend on the porosity of the soil. If it is well drained, you've a big hole, and lots of rubble, driving over it might not do much harm. On the other hand....

Mordern way is them plastic milk crate things for soak away , but burying plastic never seems a good idea when stones will do !
That’s how we did ours a few years ago. Nice deep layer of loose stone. Two layers of milk crates, then wrapped the whole lot up in a geotex fabric (I can’t remember which one). Then back fill the sides with more stone and cover.

Been totally fine and has stood having tractors and machinery running over it.
