I see "extras" has migrated to the bottom of the forum yet is the most popular sub.
I know it's not necessarily farming related but us old ones have great difficulty keeping it up

Do I get some points for spotting this @Chris F?
Considering livestock now has it’s own section and there’s been a huge reshuffle across the whole forum it’s hard not to notice? First thing I’ve done is decided I don’t like the new shuffle and looked to see if anyone else had whinged about it..

You can’t claim the points ... I posted about it first :hungover:

Yes, hate it too.

idea was a livestock farmer could easy close off the arable section if not interested and a arable farmer could close of livestock areas

these buttons on the home page let you “hide” section of no interest

Tbh I am interested in most/all subs but my most frequently visited tend to be in the extras which is relegated to the bottom of the league (like West Brom)

if interested in all then leave all sections viewable, those not interested in all can hide what they don’t want and simplify their view

we are looking at a “my tff” algorithm that creates you a feed based on what it learns you are interested in and view the most - Dread to think what such an algorithm would come up for you 😂😂😂

ok, there wouldn’t be many sections I wouldn’t enter at least once a day..
About 12 months ago you updated it and it got rid of fast backwarding through forums. Up the top of each thread it would say “Forums > Business > Livestock > “post name”” now you’ve got to click on the livestock, then business then forums. Yet on the iPad it’s like it was, seriously hacks me off :banghead:

Well I think it's better, more logical division of subjects.

edit: having said that....
it seems you are struggling to know what to do with 'rural diversification'. I'm not sure it belongs in 'buildings and infrastructure'. Many/most of the threads are about 'added value'; maybe its more natural home would be in the 'home on the farm' section ?

Definitely better in buildings and infrastructure. Most diversification’s would need some sort of building work or new infrastructure needed, PV, wind turbine, AD, caravan sites, holidays cottages etc..

Have just had a look at the front page, most are about 'added value', not many involve building work, and if they do it's secondary to the actual enterprise. Not that fussed though we find what we need :) .

Since the rejig of all sub forums I spend lots less time on here. Can't find what I'm looking for and search useless.
AFAICS not a great change [emoji45], hey ho.
Another jobs-worth? If it ain't broke it don't need fixing. And as someone once lied "change is not progress" 🤣🤣🤣
