Has anyone rung in to tell BS what they are going to grow next year or not? The beet account being down is a PITA

We all managed before the online portal was set up, it just took a bit longer for the information to come through the post.
That's alright then, I haven't been black balledWe haven’t heard either.

Same here, could have written the quote word for word!I sent my contract of in the last day possible and I haven't heard anything from them. Has everyone else had confirmation of "offer to grow".
Perhaps it didn't help that I filled in the NFU/BS survey a week or so ago and I told them a few home truths about how they treat growers and the farce that is Germaines and the monopoly supply of seed.
I had my seed order come through the post today.
Not much. Untreated (Xbeet plus and Thiram and Tachigren as used in previous years) varies from 132 to 168. And there are many different combinations of treatments you can add to boost up to about £190. Max price is 203. Not all options are available on all varieties. As if by magic!
Is the price down by much?
It’s gutting seeing nearly our whole first beet remittance money going out for seed!
Got a seed one but not a contract offer yet? Why can't they email us to say they will send a paper form or better still just email us a spreadsheet to fill in?They are sending paper forms by post.
Much the cheapest anyway.
I didn't study it indepth but I got the jist that now we've lost neonics, they've added some fancy crap or combination of fancy crap to help the crop(so they say) but ultimately to help them justify a price just as high as when they were applying something that actually worked. Not much. Try several and let us know how you get on.
