Morning @wellingtonfarmer

Nothing has fundamentally changed on the DTS, but we find that different soil types, trash levels and speed all affect the level of surface disturbance. (y)

Hope that helps,
Kind regards,

Rachael

Did you rate it? Did you buy it? Cheers for sharing.
I was reasonably impressed particularly with some drilled into a grass ley but undoubtedly the drier weather since drilling has helped. I think it's a drill to complement our others. Ideally I would like an interchangeable DD toolbar to put on our DTS chassis. The picture is taken today in the same place as the video in my previous post.

This crop of OSR was drilled in mid August in Ukraine.
The plant on the left was drilled by the Sumo DTS, the crop on the right conventionally established.
Only cultivating where the seed is placed means the soil retains moisture, giving the plant a healthier root and leaf structure, meaning it can survive the harsh winter.
Take a look on our website at the Sumo DTS and see how this machine can fit onto your farm.

On Friday Drill Specialist Will and Demonstrator Rob attended a HGCA Monitor Farm Open Day in Lincolnshire. This farm currently run a 4m and 9m DTS, and we've done some work with our DD here as well earlier in the season.
The day provides a great opportunity for farmers to see the benefits of Strip-till and Zero-Till, with both Rob and Will on hand to explain the features and benefits of the Sumo system.

We've been busy setting up at Croptec today in Peterborough.
We are on stand 163 with a DTS 3m and the drill coulter stand.

Why not come and see us tomorrow or Wednesday and find out how we can help you save time and money whilst improving your soil health?

Think smart, think Sumo!
