Thoughts on a 3.5m mounted sumo trio. I have a mounted trio converted to trailed but contemplating buying a proper trailed or making mine back to a mounted one?

Haha yeah! Are you keeping the mounted one yourself? Are you not very keen on it mounted?
It gets very little use now to be fair but gets dragged out when now and again. It’s a good machine, does a great job of levelling up ex spud land and is nice to drill behind.
it’s the only cultivator we have that’s mounted now and with the amount of road work we do trailed kit is a lot better

Fair enough yeah did a perfect job this year but it’s a bad design having the trail kit on a mounted for me

Is it a sumo seeder rape kit you have on your trailed trio? Where do you have the seed outlets mounted? We have a 3m trailed trio also with the front discs, a fantastic piece of kit, makes a great job, just not so impressed with the seeding kit yet, many thanks

Ah right, it’s just the spreader plates on our one, mounted on the rear of the roller frame, likely where your disc units are attached, the main issue I had to begin with was with the seed rate slowing down on the second or third bag of seed, not sure if it was the dressing that caused the issue or I didn’t have it set correctly in the first place, I don’t know anyone else with one to ask if they have had similar issues.

Which seeder?

The old type with 6 separate outlets or newer type with Distribution head ?
