have led a very sheltered life
Not been up many farm tracks then?
You ain’t seen the state of the council highways around here then. Not been up many farm tracks then?
I think this is an over reaction get a long handled knife to cut the bags so you don’t get under them. I’ve handled thousands of fert bags on pallet tines and never had one anywhere near break they are single use so don’t degrade like seed bags the only ones I’ve seen break have been pierced in the side of the loop getting the tine through the loop or sliding up the tines due to bad operator skills. Of all the things I will be doing over the next month I’d say this is pretty safe In between fert spreading however myself and my brother will be calving 230 suckler cows now that is dangerous and worries me to death but how do you make that safer? The only thing I can see wrong is the bag should be at the heel of the tine where it cant slideUnlike you young sparks ,with not enough hours in the day, I happened to notice the advert while I was reading the NFU mag ,while eating my poached eggs and ham for breakfast.
I must get a life
Thanks all , for having a sense of humour, on a situation that we all do, but not good when a “ loop cuts through and bag drops like a stone” thankfully with no one under it.
