So are we going to see TFF farm assurance?:D

rather unlikely ! I would just like to see what we have made fit for purpose and realistically achievable and able to add real value #

I would rather work with people to try and sort out a problem rather than against if possible

You don't need a scheme, as all the legislation is covered by cross compliance rules.
not all
we had a trading standards inspection back along it seemed to cover what was necessary, never cost us a penny, nice chap he liked our cattle he said he done RT inspections as well and that we wouldn't have a problem with it
so whats the point of RT ?

throw it all away and leave it to what we all have to adhere to anyway, trading standards

Trading Standards are concerned with the legalities of buying and selling goods & services, not food safety.

Unless you're suggesting all food producers register with their local EH office too?

Now that would be a fun thread. Getting everyone to agree to a standard that suited everybody on TFF. Let alone the rest of the farming community! Anyone care to start a thread to see how far it gets before war breaks out?
One farm visit per year, from an independent organisation ( MAFF if they still exist would be my choice) just to root out those who....errrmm....errrrrr... have mouse droppings in their corn.:D
For arable farms, a check of storage facilities is all that's required. RT have no business poking their noses into diesel storage, or fert spreader calibration etc, etc.
Interestingly, one of the Red Tractoring rules is no bait placed in stores. Kind of wonder if that's not the cause of the problems.....

Can't believe this thread is still running....:ROFLMAO:
