Local dealer has one for sale v low miles, used by some hunt follower. Power steering crash bars . Any one have experience of such a thing?

Neighbours run one, second ones he’s had. Seems to like them. It’s slower than my can am though and I did not like the racks as much.

What about a new cf Moto instead of secondhand ?
What are they actually like? Long term… my quad is absolutely f**ked and it’s going to kill me one day but I really can’t justify new quad prices 🤦‍♂️ Them CF motos are dirt cheap in comparison..

We run a 750. Had 450, 500 and now on to the 750. Beast of a machine, has the Rappa fencing machine on it permanently, never put a foot wrong. Will be having a second soon enough after learning our lesson with a CF Moto...

Don't do it to yourself. They are cheap for a reason. Its first season was okay, doing a mix of light duties and fencing, never towed a trailer. It ate drive belts for fun, think it had 4 in the winter. Dealer wouldn't stock them and took a week each time to collect, fix and return. We ended up having a few in the workshop to fix it ourselves. Then all manner of things started going wrong. Dealer wanted nothing to do with it, but took it away for best part of a year. When we finally told them we would bring it home and fix it ourselves, parts had been robbed from it and not was put right. Very disappointed and will not be having another one.

Not the 750, but I switched to Suzuki 500's (same bike but smaller engine) 2 years ago and love my one. Was that impressed with it I ditched the Honda's and bought a 2nd!

Very reliable and well built. Really comfy bike to spend all day on. Anyone I've let have a go on one has said how nice a bike it is. My only compliant is the racks are a bit small.

We have a 500 and its a good bike. Get a front bull bar on it as the plastics are flimsy and easily pulled off
Worst bikes ever for plastics breaking off, got a new one 2 weeks since and i almost took all the trims off on the first day before they break off!
Good bikes otherwise though.

Only the black extensions - which are just held on with poppers. The rest of the bodywork is as robust as any other bike.

I rolled the older of our 2 500's and broke 1 of the front extensions (only damage I did!). It got demoted to 2nd bike when we put the Honda's away and I'm not sure what brothers been upto but he has managed to rip the other 3 extensions off when just doing summer checks 🤣 my bike has almost same miles on clock now and is still in 1 piece 👍

Front plastic is a bit flimsy too....should never have stopped putting the metal frames on the front, every bike used to have one.

The black bumper? I don't think it's too bad. Agree bikes should still have a solid steel guard on front... probably the only thing Honda have right on their bikes 😂 (but they aren't as strong as you'd think, and crumple pretty easy!)

Yeah, the black bumper.

Yeah metal bullbars they were called, i thought they had maybe all been banned but does honda still have one.

They've all still got metal behind the plastic to give strength but it's designed to crumple in an accident like a car.. Honda have exposed metal guards around the lights on the 520 and the 420 has little arms below the lights - similar to the older 420 model had

My old diesel Arctic Cat has a proper bull bar... It just encourages you to ramraid things as you feel invincible with it 🤣

A friend has a 500 Suzuki and one before, I've used his for years taking my peat down and for going for miles across the hill when Beach Cleaning, they've never missed a beat, he leaves it sitting out in the open 24/7 in the Scottish Highlands, starts every time.
