Recently had a loan of a Honda 420 manual, to be fair it had no P/S but by god it has to be the most crippling, back breaker of a bike. We have two Suzuki King Quad 500 auto, would not have any other bike here now. The CanAm is nearly a good bike, just not there yet though.

Sorry no, the 500 is a great bike though. Could you not get a demo and see what works for you?

Suzuki 400 here on our 4th excellent bike, have wider tyres put only will only cost just over hundred quid and make it much better for getting about in present weather conditions!

Auto on the Suzy is smooth and very good on the 500 if that helps.

I have a 2 year old Honda 420 and a year old suzuki 400 here, both manual. The suzuki has good points, low box and more comfortable ride, but the Honda engine is much better in my opinion and the bike feels better made....it also doesn't backfire all the time like the suzuki. I would definitely have the Honda

There is a 10% discount if you are an NFU member on Ozarks, 500's and 750 King quads

Haven't owned a Suzuki for many years but there are a few about now. The newer Honda autos are horrible. They jerk when shifting and you can't shuttle from forward to reverse like you could with the older models.

For turning around etc. You'd be amazed how many times a day we select reverse. With the new Honda you have to select neutral, press the brake lever, press the stupid little red button then press the gear lever down....

Yes, it is a bit of a pain and really no need to have it so complicated.

I have not driven one yet.

  19. Just the right amount of grunt without being too revvy
Feels like a different class than anything I’ve tried before.
Relaxing and smooth to ride yet it can be some weapon if needed.
    Love it
