swale borough council 5 year housing supply plan 74%

I have been made aware that SBC has failed to meet the 75% housing supply test. How does this effect new build applications?

I have a 2 acre, long established nursery site (though now redundant). It's a backland site, so just outside the development boundary, around 2/3 covered in glasshouses/polytunnels and agricultural buildings the remainder is rough grassland.

It's 'sustainable' in the sense of all mains services being at the end of the nursery driveway, local shops, school, doctors and bus stops accessable within around 1/4 mile via pavement.

Many thanks for any helpful information.

Get onto a good planning agent quicksharp.
There will be several others in the same position as you and some of them will be ready to submit their applications the minute the shortfall was announced.
