any passing here today would have had the wind up there arse but good luck to them , who could shoot them?

Not seen a swallow this year but used to walk the dog across a nearby field and watch the swallows swooping to take flies that we had stirred up from the grass and their aerial display was breathtaking as they put on a show to put the Red Arrows to shame! The aforementioned field is now full of houses and lockdown has kept me closer to home than normal and alas my constant companion has long since departed this world.

Buzzed by a flock this morning, all round the tractor even after 48hr of heavy rain.

7 or 8 still catching flies (I assume) while I was feeding the deer this morning.

Loads about this morning following the cattle and sheep.

I assume they are biding their time here till weather improves so they can jump across the channel.

Our residents left a couple of weeks ago, maybe even three, but I saw one this morning - in the rain... Wonderful little birds, I look forward to their return; they came on April 20th this year, I wonder what date they will come back next year.

hope they drop off her for 12hrs on there way south plenty of midges over the cattle .
