The trailer indicator works on the 3 vehicles here , unless the wiring isn't rightIn this case I get reversing lights and internal lights. Internal lights will be a big plus to be honest
Loading lambs at 6am in the dark is not fun at times.
Slightly off topic....I don’t have any dash lights or audible indicators when I’m towing, led or standard lights.
3 year old hilux dealer supplied. Am I missing something??

Ranger , Freelander and RRAnd tow vehicles are current hilux?
Reversing lights are useful, but they were invented to power the electric brakes on caravans at around 2007 onwards, as 7 pins were melting.Generally only caravan stuff ,,fridges, leasure battery ,,cant think of anything else
I thought it was the law that you had some sort of indicator either it be a buzzer or lights on your dash to tell you when your indicators are working or not , that why on the link i posted earlier had a buzzer in the kit , on my mk6 7 pin you fitted a buzzer that was supplied with the kit which fitted in the wiring under the drivers foot well , my buzzer does not work with ledsIn this case I get reversing lights and internal lights. Internal lights will be a big plus to be honest

just seen this before i posted , i would like to know if my right indicator ceased working when crossing over in to fast trafficReversing lights are useful, but they were invented to power the electric brakes on caravans at around 2007 onwards, as 7 pins were melting.
The dash light / audible warning of the indicators operating ceased to be a legal requirement a few years ago.
My newish Navara flashes the dash light faster if trailer indicator isn’t working. Led or ordinary. In this case I get reversing lights and internal lights. Internal lights will be a big plus to be honest

A towbar shop might not do it any better , they might just scotch lock a basic loom into the original loom , the loom i have posted earlier and there are others and toyota also do them is realy just plug and play , if you go to a towbar shop make sure its one of these looms and not a scotch lock hack .My newish Navara flashes the dash light faster if trailer indicator isn’t working. Led or ordinary.
I would go to a towbar shop and get them to do it. Ask for a price first.
