Could someone point me towards a switch similar to this, I can find plenty of on-off switches but none with screw terminal housing. Its off a utv sprayer so weatherproof would be best. TIA.

What’s wrong with your switch? Most probably only needs the contacts inside cleaning or they’re burnt off. If you melt the solder the switch with two blade connectors will come off and you coukd solder in a new replacement

Absolutely, and get yourself an aersol can of "electronic switch cleaner". Make sure it is the proper stuff formulated to dissolve the verdris that builds up and forms a non-conductive layer on switches. That white deposit looks as if it could be corrosion.

I have a fairly expensive but old video camera here. There is a rotary switch for selecting the various modes in a menue and the picture was flickering. I finally bit the bullet and gave it a short burst of switch cleaner (NOT WD40!) and the camera is now working perfectly. That stuff has saved me a fortune.

If you just need the switch and the housing is ok you can get a switch from RS components, it will take you a while to find the right one because they have hundreds of different ones, but they will have them and will deliver quick at reasonable price.

Switch would occasionally not work, now getting worse and the housings cracked

I don't doubt its corrosion and having cleaned it up with electrical cleaner and it making no difference, I thought it best to renew.
I'm sorry my small problem has annoyed you! :D

I am just bemused at the way you seem to be banging your head against the wall. A switch is just a manually operated bridge to join to sides of the same circuit, or am I missing something? Won't that 10A switch do the job? We are trying to help, believe it or not!

I would imagine that an IDENTICAL unit will be very hard to source.

If it were me... I would replace the whole unit with a generic inline waterproof switch.

Just my tuppence worth.

Well I'm bemused with your replies here. The switch you recommend is for interior use.
