T0 thoughts septoria control 2022

That's early! Long way until T1 yet. Would think T0 would be another 10days here if we do one. Is this a T-1?
I agree. Round here timings are usually 20th mar/apr/may and with only 3 weeks decent protection I’m not putting anything on yet. Crops need manganese and first pgr split anyway so 0.5teb going in too when I do go. Last 2 years septoria has come in really late but then we did have adexar last year RIP. Ascra first then Revystar this year.

What are peoples thoughts on what to use for septoria control at t0 this year? Didn't do a t0 for septoria last year, only teb on yellow rust susceptible varieties, but had too much septoria in may/june for my liking.

What is there?
Folpet?
Can you get mancozeb this year?
Triazole for the little bit of activity they have left? one of the foliar sulphur products?

Thoughts?
Given your location in Septoria centre, I’d consider folpet in your strategy.

Probably 3 x 1 litre of folpet from T0 to T2 with teb at T0 then two decent SDHI brews at T1&2. Many would raise an eyebrow at that! Another train of thought would be to take the money you spend on folpet and spend it on a higher rate of a current generation fungicide like Revystar/Inatreq at T1 & T2.

Of course, variety, weather, risk and timing drive choices.

yes, im not a big fan of folpet really. i think im leaning towards no septoria t0, but Revystar/Inatreq at T1 & T2, which will be pretty expensive, but i think it will give me more bang for my buck than folpet. i didnt spend enough at t1 last year as we had no rain at all in april and were thinking about getting thew irrigator out. then non stop rain in may and revystar wasnt good enough to get back ontop of the septoria

Is Teb a protectant of rust? I can’t find any rust in Kerrin but need to roll it and thought maybe spray Teb beforehand rather than having to wait 10+days after rolling?
No erraticant only. Just because you can't see the pustules atm doesn't mean the disease isn't in the plant. Best get some samples sent off to see what disease is there

If it's Kerrin, it's got rust.

For fungicides, no need to wait 10 days after rolling. herbicides do most damage in this respect so, say, 5 days should be adequate.
I've given up on rolling, kicking my heals at the moment waiting to get beans finished then N2 on OSR before I get on to wheat, looking at these ideal spraying conditions I hope I'm doing the right thing :(
Skinnys on today all ready to go
