I’d be very surprised if it’s in Extase, Is it on every plant or just odd ones? If it’s the latter I’d say they’re rogue varieties.
Definitely in Extase. Surprised the hell out of us too!
But don’t we often find that these “resistance to virtually anything” varieties soon break down?

I just hope it can hang on to its Septoria rating, which is always my main variety choice reasoning, especially now Chlorothalonil is gone.

Yellow rust is always the Achilles of all these best thing since sliced bread varieties. I put it down to being grown over a much larger area when they become popular.

Done a mate t0 on some rusty varieties. Will probably be ready for t1 in a week. As there is little to no septoria is it best to hold off until leaf 3 is fully out on everything and see what is happening with the rain?

Had a look with agronomist yesterday. Leaf 3 on its way out, would usually be fully out now.
No disease, even on Firefly, bone dry with no rain on the horizon. Decided to hold fire, not even putting any product in the store. Could well only have a flag leaf spray this year.

No fung in T0 here, L3 is around 30% emerged
I’ll walk again on Monday and make a decision for T1 then, it won’t be a big spend !!

I’ll put the rest of the CCC on and leave out Moddus, can always come back with Terpal if rain comes in May and the wheats need a bit more pgr

T1 is a good two weeks away. Maybe a bit more with frosts and cold. Current plan is 0.3 of canopy and to use up the epoxi &mantra in the shed. Maybe a bit of amistar again for stock reduction.

Product and dose is easy when we have normal weather, whatever normal is. This year it is difficult to know what to do. May go 0.75 Aviator once I've used up the odds and sods in the shed. I might delay into early May if no rain in the forecast. Rusty varieties have had teb as a 'T0'.

5mm of rain in April. Wheat looks ok with T1 a fortnight off at least. I think we will also be using aviator. YR on certain varieties the only concern, without rain septoria won’t be a problem here. We have had nightly frosts and pretty cold days so my Teb @ t0 was probably a waste of money.
