T2, anybody using Revystar??

I had the same last year, Ascra is better value.
I hadn't looked at this years costings until this afternoon and yes, I would use Ascra again.
Although 0.8 of Aviator on anything with less yield potential might work if it's not a rust variety maybe??

What about Adexar? Wasn't long ago they were guarnteeing Adexar would yield more than the competion and launched a "Real Results" campaign, which then went very quiet when the results came in......

I used some Adexar at T1 and Tracker on the rest.
The real results campaign worked out very well for me last year !!

Have used a lot of Adexar in the past. Past data has been favourable to Adexar has it not? Now like using epoxiconazole with the ability to buy Imtrex (if it's still available this year) to boost up to Adexar if needed. E.g. this year had Epic and Ascra in stock. Could have done Ascra T1 and then Epic + Imtrex T2, or Epic T1 and Ascra T2. In the end will do a mixture of both.

Think the new Corteva product due next year is superior from what I have seen but only just. I think there must be something in the wetting system that gives it the horrible smell. If anyone has experienced the epoxi formulations ignite and bassoon in the past it is just the same.

I walked a couple of fields of early October sown Siskin last night. The main stem has the flag leaf fully out & boots are swelling. I've seen photos of September sown Extase with ears emerging.

Growth stages all over the place - the odd plant with the ears out.

Had a sort of t1 14 days ago. I'm seriously minded to ditch any sdhi and just use up CTL and then see what happens for the t2. I'm not even sure what my timing should be!

You can only do your best - whatever we deem "right" will be adjusted by nature's response in the weeks following.

The cooler weather this week will slow disease spread a little I guess, though warmer conditions again after that.

I don't know what the pricing for Revystar is but Ascra is £33/litre. Someone posted £48.50/litre on the Chemical Price Tracker for Revystar. Still a price premium to the competition at 0.75 l/ha.

Before you go cutting dose rates to make it compare with existing options, bear in mind that this is single site chemistry so will lose efficacy in a few years, just as strobilurins & triazoles have (Revystar has a new triazole mefentrifluconazole + fluxapyroxad). Reduced sensitivity to SDHIs has already been reported, so look after new products please. By not using them until the price comes down!

A word of warning - beware of breathing in fumes from Revystar. I've heard several reports of operators feeling unwell after using it.

This is what fudged the Strobes- worked so well that people reduced the rates.

Undecided which direction to going for T2 here. Jb Diego flag leaf half out. It's a rusty variety in the east so I'm thinking adexar/librax but its thick and theres mildew so a prothio based product either aviator or ascara would be best for that.

Fingers crossed that full flag leaf emergency will be just before 20th so the inclusion of ctl shouldn't be a problem.
