T2, anybody using Revystar??

Is anybody going to use Revystar at T2, would a low rate work as well as a good rate of the slightly older chemistry if you spend the same ££.
My best wheat is Extase, so Revysol would be a bit OTT, but I have got a decent block of Crusoe which might benefit.

My agronomist thinks 0.8 Ltr/ ha would be adequate over here ... probably half that in the Uk !!!!! Seeing that you seem to use only half the rates we have to use ! ??

Personally I won't be using it
I can't see the real need this year, why start the road to resistance a year early in a lower pressure and yield potential season when we have a final hurrah on ctl this season and epoxi next??
I'll probably be going Ascra as it's well priced or Aviator if it's stays dry for the next two weeks or Elatus if I'm worried about rust on Firefly possibly, which may be a good fit for your BR prone Crusoe??

No, Elatus era is better value and more appropriate for the East where rusts are our main enemy on Skyfall and Firefly.

I'll probably go Ascra but I expect 1/2 rate revysol is similar to a decent slug of Ascra?

I don't know what the pricing for Revystar is but Ascra is £33/litre. Someone posted £48.50/litre on the Chemical Price Tracker for Revystar. Still a price premium to the competition at 0.75 l/ha.

Before you go cutting dose rates to make it compare with existing options, bear in mind that this is single site chemistry so will lose efficacy in a few years, just as strobilurins & triazoles have (Revystar has a new triazole mefentrifluconazole + fluxapyroxad). Reduced sensitivity to SDHIs has already been reported, so look after new products please. By not using them until the price comes down!

A word of warning - beware of breathing in fumes from Revystar. I've heard several reports of operators feeling unwell after using it.

Independent. I wouldn't be reporting BASF's own carefully selected trials.

This is my logic. Patchy crops mean that you can soon lose a lot of money on the thin bits by applying an expensive product.

I've nothing against spending to protect a good crop, but this doesn't seem like the year to justify it.

I keep find myself using Aviator, although this year on OSR instead of Proline for sclerotinia, which at 0.5l is cheaper than Proline. However, in wheat it seems not great value. I can get it for £2/5l less than Ascra. Given Ascra is the stronger product, can't see why you'd use Aviator instead. (BTW, I have used Aviator quite a bit in the past, just have realised that it's not the best value anymore.)

I had the same last year, Ascra is better value.
I hadn't looked at this years costings until this afternoon and yes, I would use Ascra again.
Although 0.8 of Aviator on anything with less yield potential might work if it's not a rust variety maybe??

Just checked my best prices and I actually have Ascra as the same price per litre as Aviator.

I am using revystar on my zyatt as good potential yield and know it will rain (irrigation)
