I don't want to influence you but if British Steel shuts then Scunny will die - better abroad, though have read about JFC and impressive setup producing 400 ton of green salad a year from a warehouse!

Not to hijack the thread into a "cool new jobs for tesla" but if I move abroad then there is no chance Mrs Teslacoils will come too.

I was going to ring JFC and see if I could do some work experience between autumn land work and my winter trip to Asia.

Don’t worry chaps if The fusarium knackers the wheat at least we may see some good prices as we did in 2013 after harvest 2012.
Swings and roundabouts.

The art in this job is to try and buck the trend , try and grow good quality and yield and then sell well whilst those around you struggle , it's what we all try and do but with varying levels of success .
I have quite high levels of inputs compared to most on here but I am very happy with my crops , couple of months and we will know I suppose on the quality and yield

Today's job ,,,,,, try and get a fungicide on the beans , ran out of time just before the weather broke

In the middle.
I've just passed someone trying to get t3 on some wheat. I think more was landing on the field next door than the one he was in as its a little bit windy here.

We ummed and ahhed and haven’t done a T3 here either through lack of disease present/lack of spray day opportunities/being away on holiday etc.

Wheats flowered and past optimum timing for Teb.

Still Scrabbling around trying to get the T2 on the spring barley between showers.

Got some left over Soleil in the Chem store so will apply it to a strip of wheat and see if f it makes a difference, once the barley is sprayed.
