T7 handbrake problem

My t7 230 handbrake has stopped working suddenly. We adjusted the cable but it’s something inside is it hard to get in there? Or is there something else we could try

I had pads put in mine when we had one, one of the rear wheels off and take a cover off as far as I can remember, couldn't have been that big of a job though did it in the field, fitter would be there for much longer than an hour and a half !

As said if you take the back left wheel off there is then a cover that gives access to the brake pads. The unit unbolts as one. Takes some skill to put them back in to get the pads lined up with the discs, there is a special tool which is a bit like a fork that keeps the pads evenly spaced while it drops back into place

Does the diesel tank need to come off to do it?

Im not sure on the lwb
I remember doing a t7200 and im sure we just undone the straps and slid it out enough to work behind it.
