I’ve a t7 230 and im
Wondering is it possible to set it up so we can lift the front mower and back mower with the joystick or with two of the electric spools. At the moment we lift front mower with joystick and rear mower with spool switch

On my 2016 T7 you could do it as the front service was piped to a rear spool and on my new one with mid mounts it’s still possible to have it all on the crosspad on the joystick.

Just have to set it on up the screen. The only slight annoyance is you have to press the rear button to float it every time. I have the top one set to lift front mower, the right hand side to lift rear, the bottom to lower front and the left to lower rear, so you just work round in a circle.

So you want to go to remote valves

Then on the bottom you go to the arrow

Then press Reconf

Then you can press each of the 4 squares outlined in red and choose which remote you want to be on each one.

Lovely thanks a million I’m going mowing with it again on Monday and will set it up 👌
That's an Intelliview 4 you have if it's the same as Colins 👍 (it will be since it's a '16 tractor)

Bear with me, if what Colin says works for you, you can also set it so that the front and rear mower will drop into and lift out of work by pressing the same HTS button (tractor symbol)

I.e.
One press - drop front mower
Second press - drop rear mower
End of row, press again - lift front
Press again - lift rear
And repeat the process (by far the easiest way imo).

If you wanted to be a little more fancy, you could set it so that pressing the HTS button once will drop the front mower, drop the rear mower a couple of seconds later, and even adjust revs automatically at the end of the row.

It all sounds very complicated but it's pretty easy, if I had 10 minutes sitting in the cab I could show it to anyone 😅

I tried this but when I got to the field I just couldn’t get it to work as well as it did in the yard lol :(

Typical haha. It is very handy when you get it set up, have another go next time you're in the field. I used to use it drilling and mowing all the time, you'll like it if you get it going.

A simple sequence was:
1. Increase revs
2. Drop mowers
3. Drop rear mowers after 2 metres.

In reverse for the second press.

The above video shows how it can be edited if it's not working right (second half of the video).

Im not sure where I’m going wrong it seems to lift the mower and when I press it again to lift the back one it drops them back down even though that should be step B which I have set to drop them into float.

I have a feeling it’s due to the timing??

Been well over a year since I used it, however I think the way you have it set now is that one press of the HTS will activate front and rear remotes two seconds after you press HTS (for whatever designated time you have the spools set to pump).

I would try the float on the same instructions page (A), so spool activation (1 & 2), followed by floating the remotes (set it another couple of seconds after the first two actions).

Then B the reverse.

Alternatively, try pressing the record button and go through a normal sequence, it should store it after that.

Done a bit more investigating, keep the setup you have now, play with the timing (I find distance is better, so it lifts the rear mower at the correct time)

Tap the AB (I think it's tap), until it looks like this:
Screenshot_20220528-121336_Chrome.jpg

this will make it Do A (lift), then B (lower) then back to A etc.

I'm not sure if they've updated the 'triggers' (distance, time, linkage height etc) to include pressing the HTS button as a trigger, if they have, use that option instead.

(I'm sure that's as clear as muck 😃)

Edit - case have a slightly better vid of it.

So I tried recording an A sequence as lift the front mower, lift the rear, and a B sequence as front mower into float then rear mower into float.

Tried to play A and it still raised both and then immediately lowered them back down.

Gave up in the end lol

Glad it's not only me. I tried it a couple of times to set up for plough and gave up.

I have a successful one saved for the tanker, where it cuts off the PTO, and a couple of seconds after shuts the valve, then the next press opens the valve and starts the PTO. It works brilliantly.

Just couldn’t for the life of me get it working right on the mowers though.
