Personally, it sounds more than feasible - I'd jump at it, cheap quality feed and a possible sharefarming relationship for the future!?

If you can get something going that benefits both parties, the sums work out, you know what to do
I m hoping it may lead to long term arrangement in some form ..its a bit of an expansion on my part....I m already wondering how I m going to round them up!!

If you move them often enough, they will practically follow you onto a bus.

I had our lot trained in a month, from ⅔ of them never having seen an electric fence, to staying behind a single wire; don't need dogs or flappy bags or bikes if you actually shepherd and feed them properly (which of course is good for the pasture and stock)

if you run them well the first year then you could even approach them with a JV proposal in the future, generally things work out a whole lot better if everyone has a vested interest in performance rather than it being "that guy's job" if you see what I mean?
We are doing a JV hogget lambing this year on our place, so it's the same but different.
For half the lambs at weaning I want to 'do them' as well as possible, and it's worth a cheaper grazing rate to encourage a good working relationship we reckon.
