Hello and thank you for letting me join your forum.
I hope this is okay to post here.

DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN? This footage was taken in Takeley near to Stansted Airport on the Essex/Hertfordshire Borders

He may well be working with others, and drives a dark grayish van, possibly a Ford transit with sliding doors on the side.

He was captured at around 1.30pm on the 9th Dec 2014 on our CCTV. He was seen to drive back & forth past our property 'Casing the joint', before eventually pulling up. He walked down our driveway and across our frontage to a specific area at the furthest side of our house. It appears that when he realised the TV was on and someone was home that he signaled to someone. Once seen and confronted he decides to get his privates out and p*ss up our property and used this as an excuse for being in our garden!!!! Despite being told he is on CCTV he insists he is only using our property for a wee. Evidence clearly confirms otherwise and that he was patrolling our property before he decided to possibly gain entry. His vehicle has also been clocked on neighbouring properties CCTV.

Please be aware that we are unsure of his motives. It maybe this was an attempted burglary, garden machinery theft, poultry theft or attempted dog napping. We do have a very large run that is visible and could be mistaken as a dog run, however all four dogs live in the house. Thankfully there is usually always someone home.

We have since found out that he was confronted 15 minute prior to this incident at a property near to Hatfield Broad Oak. A lady see him at her neighbours and confronted him. When asked what he was doing he said he was delivering chickens. The lady said she would phone her neighbour whom was out at the time by which he casually got back in his van and drove off.

Please please be cautious and if he is seen and you are suspicious call 999. if you recognise this man the police would like any information no matter how small. They would like to trace him or would like the registration number or even a partial reg of the van he was driving. Harry Callaghan intelligence officer at Stansted Airport would like any info. I have Harry's email if anyone would like to forward information that they feel could help the police trace him. The police have visited us 3 times now for info and they clearly for one reason or another want to speak to this man

If you live in the area please be extra vigilant.

That amount of wood, it must have been from Hatfield forest. As the National Trust cut a lot of hardwoods out from the forest a few years ago.
