Show me a house of same standard for grand a month.... the house is no more than a council house you’d find in your local Arab populated council estate just because it’s plonked in the countryside doesn’t make it any more valuable
Sad but true.Supply. Demand. I've not got the particulars but unless the house is sat next to a railway line, or the farm has an annoying "other house" belonging to someone else with a row through the yard, then a grand a month is easy for the house.
Sheds don't look bad either. Depending on location would make a nice "wife and daughter" farm IE cheaper than renting house and paddock while husband works in London five days a week.

Sad but true yes... my house is village near it and much much nicer, 3 bed, big gardens and recently refurbished top to bottom and I had it valued for renting out when I’d considered renting said farm.. the estate agent reckoned I’d get £600 for it a month was hopeful for 800 really ...
So if you took that £600 a month it would effectively leave the farm at £126.47 an acre, daughter's sold all her lambs which she had born from her ewes this time fat, 3 draws all off just grass, averaged 44kg and £122 apiece, you keep telling us these farms are too dear, I can't see it, there's plenty of staffs tenants current and ex on this forum and none come on here running these farms down like you, and no one's holding a gun to their heads to make them stay.Sad but true yes... my house is village near it and much much nicer, 3 bed, big gardens and recently refurbished top to bottom and I had it valued for renting out when I’d considered renting said farm.. the estate agent reckoned I’d get £600 for it a month was hopeful for 800 really ...
This year.My point was one lamb paid the rent.
It'll take 3 lambs to pay the rent. This year.
What happens when they're 40 quid tops next year.
