Class and JD net is definitely tamma I'm not sure how many other tractor manufacturers market tamma in they're own name

Welgers aren't that fussy what you put through them especially for grass I'd get rondatex or the like no much point in spending extra on tamma

Had a Krone baler that just hated anything other than horribly expensive JD branded Tama net. Made a lovely job when it worked though

However, discovered a new "premium" net made by Cotesi which they've called "cross expand". Like the Tama, it stretches to cover the edges without tearing, it feeds into the baler instead of wrapping around the feed roller, it cuts cleanly without tails...... And it's more than £50 a roll saving compared to Tama

Changed the baler to a Kuhn since, and it'll wrap bales with anything. The netting system work that well, it would probably manage to cover bales with knitted socks and string vests

Used mole valleys own net couple of years ago. Baler handled it great, tidy job on the bales but a nightmare to take off. Was very fine and loved to get wrapped up on everything it possibly could. Ended up wrapped round the bearings on the bale un roller. seamed to ladder and there was always a very fine bit left on the bale. Gone back to tamma. £200 roll this year.

Anyone having trouble with tama coming off the roll narrow in places. Last year I had lots of bales without net right to the edge. It was maybe 4 inches away from the edge of the roll in places and the bars on the netter couldn't get the net spread to the edge of the bale

Needing a roll for this welger, the volac green stuff worked fine in the claas when it wasn't broken down, but defo not as good quality. Probably just get edge to edge.

Never been as disappointed by something so highly recommended on here as i was with Tamanet.
Used it for one season, then back to the Rondotex we had been using for previous 25 years.

Last time I used tamma it was shorter than claimed on the packaging it was supposed to be 3600m +200 m extra free but the counter on the mchale made it just shy of 3500m I didn't believe the counter but when I used a different kind it made it over 3600 so I've never used tamma again

I'm onto rondatex now but used something else for a few years it had a couple of different names and I can't mind who made it now . Now I'm back onto a welger (fendt) there's no counter but I know how many bales I get out of a roll and rondatex is spot on

Glad I saw this. The new Cotesi product will be worth a try. Both types of Tama are ok but neither will reliably run to the end in our JDF441m I havnt had my money’s worth til I am baling the ones with the red line.

Tama is good stuff. I've seen me having a bad day with net on baler. Change to tama and it works fine for rest of day.🤷‍♂️
Tama used to be the best, and is priced accordingly.Like a lot of market leaders they think the name will sell it forever.Rondotex at 2/3 the price of Tama does just as good a job and I swear the rolls are longer.

Not got the best single rotor rake operator. Any slightly humped in the middle bales were bursting the net. Rondotex were fine.
Also wasn’t keen on the edge to edge when removing net for use in winter. Would tear and leave a strip at the bottom if bale sat on its end.
