Tanking

What tyre pressure do people run the tractor and tanker at? @25psi on the tractor it sways on the road when getting up the speed but when on farm track would it be alright to run at 18psi or lower? And what are your tanker tyres at? I think one of ours is softer than the other but which one is right?
Thanks for any replies, guessed a lot of dairy farmers would use tankers so but it here instead of machinery

If not going on the road and just around the farm, having them lower on the tractor gives a noticeable increase in traction and reduces damage if the ground isn't perfect. On the road, sometimes run higher. 18psi sounds somewhere in the region... 1.2bar ish?

The tanker tyres I check regularly if I'm going on the road and run them at Maximum rating. Seen tankers swaying from side to side on soft tyres, and if you go round a corner even slowly on a soft tyre and the liquid inside the tanker sloshes the wrong way at the right time, going over becomes much more likely.

When tanker is full on tractor measure from hub centre to floor ,18/34 should be 744mm and 18/38 ,795mm

Yeah I dropped the tyres so when loaded there were 3 lugs in contact with the ground and it left less of a mark than when the tyres were fully inflated and there were no tanker on it
Thanks for your input
Definitely something I’ll look at more next year when tanking again
