TB and removal of close contact animals

does anyone know when would animal health remove close contact animals.
EG cow gets removed on skin test what about her 6month old calf? or only if she slaughters and cultures positive?

They might take the calf if she has lesions

Don't they bloody just. We received a letter earlier in the week informing of us of the need for a contiguous test for TB. The problem from my perspective is that not one of my contiguous (even by DEFRA reasoning) has had a reactor!! Sodding Ministry vets would not say who they are using as the justification. The really weird thing, is that not One of my neighbours has been required to test!

They are strapped for cash, and if this animal has passed the skin test, it's highly unlikely they'll take it as a DC.
Could be wrong though.

They do took mine and they had nothing but didut even take samples to try and grow it on a new brake down and everything can’t make sence of it at all you just got to go along with it no over way
