‘IF’ is a big word though.
By the sound of you the damage has already been done. But I think a Clipex/Te Pari would help delay the inevitable.

I estimate my combi clamp has put a decade on the shepherding life of my knees. I think the Te Pari will do the same again.

Do they run through it better then, compared to the combi? Is there an additional labour saving vs a combi?

Have you estimated how much the shepherding life of your knees will be shortened by getting fat & lazy?😂

When weighing/drafting absolutely. Machine can do that so I work the dog from the side of the race and assist sheep flow.

With treatments maybe slightly less, but the auto catch means I can get off to sort a problem without worrying I'll miss one.

Looking at buying one here in ireland but im on the fence definitely has its merits but if ive to bring the prattley go back for a clamp and then go back again for the trailer.

I can only really see me using it for crutching and weaning or pulling lambs from large mobs for the factory.

I dont see it being feasable for doing dosing etc. As i think itd be to stop start for a one man operation.

I dose bolus and inject through my combi clamp as a 1 man operation.
