TE20 D lift capacity

Does anyone know the rear linkage lift capacity of the TE20D?

What is the best way of weighing down the front end if I wanted to lift 1t on the back?

a tonne no chance, not sure if there is anywhere to fit a front weight frame, wheel weights might be enough for haylage bales but would be pushing it

According to Tractordata the 35X can lift 2500lbs (1.1 tons)
You are going to need about a ton on the front too.

We have a Sanderson fork lift on one of our 35's. It might lift a ton if you you put a load of extra weights on the front but you'd struggle to go anywhere with it.
I'd guess your fergie will be nearly as good.

A chap I know use to lift round haylage bales on a rear spike with one no problem

it would most likely lift a ton if you kept the weight right in tight to the tractor, but be careful over the bumps the arms though strong are not very big

Many moons ago we had a Fergie TEA, limit was 12 conventional bales on the transport tray, so that be about 350kg.

This would be the deadweight lift on the link ends.
Realistically you can divide this by half to find the max carrying capacity.

I have carried a ton on pallet forks on back of a 35. Will lift any silage bale I have ever tried
