Wonder if getting their arse in gear before bfu do it....
Pity nothing on methane

I had another look at them, done in 2020, which explains why they are positive, for the last two years anything put out by AHDB and NFU has apologized for methane from cows destroying the planet.

This was in the recent AHDB newsletter.

First glance I thought great, we can do that, then read the detail: Huge amount of input needed, many hours of being trained up, time away from work etc etc (not paid for this, though everyone else in the process will be) .

Was wavering by then anyway, but what ruled it out for us was the bit at the end: 'You must be farm assured' . Why ? What has that got to do with an ability to engage with kids ?

Has anyone signed up for it ? Would be interesting to hear how people get on, even if it is irrelevant to many farms who would be excellent for this but don't meet the criteria.

They don't seem to have specified which assurance scheme you need to be on, so assume LEAF/Organic etc would also count?
