Hi chaps,
Having trouble with the above , it's the 2007 and earlier type.
Dry joints on the circuit board but I can't separate the circuit board from the face plate.
Seems to be stuck on the joysticks, taken the collars off but they don't want to pop through. There was also one nut on the board mounting bolts , anything else I'm missing?

You need to unsolder the potentiometer from the PCB and you will find that the joysticks will have been fitted to the plate with silicone.

It's very difficult to dismantle without damaging something - but not impossible. Are you replacing the membrane switches on the face plate at the same time as they are known to fail.

£350 to fix two of the membrane buttons on mine.
@Mattscimmy If you can do it yourself you'll save a packet.

It's dry joints on the joystick micro switches for sure. But there maybe other issues.
Talked to Teagle last week looking around £750+v for a new unit so at Dave king price for repair , if I can get it apart should be a simple fix. If it all goes pear shaped I'll get a new one.

Our previous 9090 had the same problem and I bought new micro switches off ebay. It was an easy job to change them.
