Teagle super ted

They are very good machines. I borrow one occasionally for drying out straw swaths. Big swaths bung it up but it is very good at fluffing them up though it doesn't invert anything. A good investment IMO.

Have used for grass and straw does a good a good job as long as you are not expecting miracles in large straw swaths if they are soaking wet its of limited use unless you have constant dry weather ahead if need it drying out quickly it's not the tool

Got one last year for straw. Great for tidying up headlands and reducing waiting on them when rest of field is fit. OK to put a bit of air into a swath but if it's properly wet, especially if run on, then it needs turned - not a job for the teagle The value of moving the swath onto fresh dry ground should not be underestimated.

Had some very heavy crops of silage with the weather against us this year was very tangly stuff and struggled to dry it had dam lumps in we have a Tedder but it rows up aswel so it does neither job very well was wondering if super ted would be good or a Tedder better cheers

Had some real problems with wet heavy crops of oat straw last year.
I
Have used a super ted before and as stated is great for fluffing up headlands. However with today's big swaths we find the best solution is to spread it all out and rake up with a double rake.

Used a teagle super ted for silage since I was a boy. Second one we’ve had. Yes they are slower than a Tedder but Iv got both to choose from. The time you save with a super ted doing it once rather than tedding it out then raking it is a lot plus saves on fuel. I know these contractors do t want to see single swaths these days but you wil make a much better hard shape bale. Top machine. Will go behind a 3m mower no problem
