Teat cleaner brush/scrubber?

Just thinking about putting in one of those hand held pneumatic/electric brush teat cleaners jobs in our rotary and wondered what the general experience on here was. Good, bad indifferent? The cost saving v. wet wipes would pay for it over time.

Yes but then we have changed other stuff too.
No idea why but with the brushes, bactos were often over 100. Trouble is, milkers like to chat so it’s possible that the chems weren’t being given enough time.

I work on prevention rather than cure,clean cows don’t need anything more than a dry wipe,local large herd have a brush and you need strong arms after brushing 900 cows per milking.

12 months ago 3 of my farms tried it. Only one is still in now and most of the milkers hate it.

Dont bother ! cows hated it and milkers hated ! expensive to run !

Northern dairy pneumatic system here couple years old. Dropped cell and bacto initially. Cost similar to paper towels. Cow man likes it but having pysio for aching shoulders!

Noticeably quicker than wet spray then wipe system and more consistent

Found ours dropped cell count anyway main reason we have one is consistency as there a number of different milkers between, myself, dad, brother, full time man and part time man we never have any trouble with it
