Is anyone having any problems with genus valiant everyday teat spray. Apparently they have changed it. Cows teats went sore and red and now the skin is peeling off. Been a right pain milking.

No definitely not, 1000l ibc. Genus admitted they have changed the dip.

Would be having a word with your vet and milk recording so you have up to date SCCs. We had dodgy kilco teat dip but just blocked the teat sprayers constantly, i massively regret accepting a crate of lager and £600 teat sprayer solenoids that burnt out! Had a big impact on SCCs and mastitis, i'd imagine red raw teats would be worse again.

Use FilmUtile now from EcoLab, think it’s similar to a Lely teatspray, bright orange stuff?

To be fair it was recommended for use through automatic spraying systems but I don't think it is now

i think it was a dodgy batch where a different dye was used and it didn’t dissolve properly.

Feel like I am hijacking the thread,
I just wanted to make the point to make you get your ducks in order and don’t let genus fob you off with a wooly hat and a replacement drum of chemical, if their f up has caused a animal welfare/health issue and a monetary loss then you should be compensated accordingly.

If peoples dogs skin started peeling off from dog shampoo or peoples hair falling out after using hair gel would be huge issue!
