Can't seem to get this Tedder to run right, especially bad when running downhill!
As seen in the vid below, tractor is auto steering in a straight line and only doing 6.6kph, tried at all different speeds and made no real difference other than the ferocity of the wobble got worse at higher speed!

Any ideas!! pulling my hair out over this Tedder!!

Can't quite make it out on your picture but is there 2 dampers either side of headstock?
If so try tightening them up a little so they have a good bit of resistance if you follow me.

Looks as if your linkage stabilizer arms aren't tight with how much the head stock is moving side to side for a start. Get them tight and central. As it's been said have a look see if you can adjust the dampers. Would it not also be better running in 540E?

What happens if you steer it yourself? Just wondering if the sensitivity is too high causing a wobble but most likely the damper bars.

I can't see your video but if it's swinging from side to side just tighten the friction dampers up they'll be on the two arms between the Tedder and headstock, my krone does this from time to time and all they have are plastic bushes with a couple of bolts through

Should be 2 plastic clamps on the stabilisers. But like hydraulic pipe clamps. Try tightening them up

tensioned the vibration dampers, they were slack as you like, may see if i can find a check chain to bolt onto the link arm without the auto stabiliser, will see how much of a difference that makes! thanks all
