Have any of the mags, profi FG FW done comparison test for tedders lately?

Been looking at 6 and 8 star models.

Amazed at the differnet cost of tines!

One manufactures original tine is £15 another brand ican pick up a copy for £4.80. You would hope the £15 would be less likely to break!

We have looked at
Malone 6*
Claas 800
Kuhn 7902
Krone 782
Pottenger 8.81

Any
Pros and cons for various makes?

Think you may struggle to get a malone 6 star this season. I was told there was only "1 left in the country" by local dealer (who put me in contact with the dealer it was with.)
I've since found a new Lely which I've put my name on.

You seem to have omitted one of the best tedders from your list IMO …. Lely

Not only time price but time arms vary massively. We sell parts and one time arm for a fella is £18 another for a vicon is £35. All I can say is Look at the overall cost for most common wearing parts. Never buy genuine tines as they don’t make them and look at what major faults different brands suffer from and narrow down your list.

Might be worth giving Cornish a call, he usually brings lightly used ones over from Europe

Are they still avaliable?

all i will say is buy the widest you can afford
That is the plan . Preferably an 8 star with smaller rotors

If looking at Lely have a word with Sam Fry at Tedburn.
No website at all.....still in dark ages out tedburn?
Should have gone to Grassland Southwest all going there.
SIP very impressive !
I wanted to but my son was away in London and I couldn't get away that day.
