Telehandler Size

I bought a construction spec JCB 531-70 and it’s now got 11000 hours on it. I have just rebuilt the transmission but other than that very little has gone wrong. It’s all levers not joystick but it’s fine to use. We also have a Claas 7045 all joystick and hydrostatic and boom suspension compared to the JCB it’s like night and day but the JCB is still pretty good and they can be had a lot cheaper.

Anytime you need any therapy u can come here and load 1750tons some days 6ton machine!!

What is it that you do, that must be 50 trucks a day or something? I drove a telehandler for much of last summer and loved every second of it. I just want a machine that has decent air con and which doesn't have a cab full of rattles and whines. A centre cab machine or shovel would suit me as the cab is much larger for all my gear, too.

We have a 2009 manitou 627 owned from new, now on 6400hrs, I really like it, grand thing to use.

The Joystick is very nice to use and it’s a handy loader that has plenty of lift.

Its not going anywhere any time soon.

However! I just couldn’t recommend one to anyone, Ours has had to work but has been an owner driven machine from new yet has still managed to run some fairly big repair bills up over the last few years. To the point where Im now thinking it’s about been rebuilt.
