Midlife crisis birthday rapidly approaching...

Do I need a jd 5020?

Are they a joyous pit of money, can you get bits etc etc?

Could a decent one be relied upon to say tug some cambridge rolls around?

Know nothing about them, but they just look awesome!

Thanks

what do you do with it, hook it to a cultivator once a year? go for a tractor run, where everyone will tell you , pity you restored that ,rather than leave the old patina ( or vice versa of course)
Buy a sports car then take it out for a few runs, top down on a sunny day, go annouying all the local farmers by blocking their back roads, stop at a country pub where the locals will love it.
more so your your wife / partner will think 100 % more of you for tinkering with it than coming in smelling of diesel and covered in grease
I can promise you " you think more of that car" as you put it to bed in a blanket is term of appreciation.
" take those clothes off this instant" as you stand at the threshold covered in grease, is not a come hither and make passionate love, it is the first step to a divorce :LOL::LOL:

Like your reasoning. However, small children preclude sports car option currently, whereas tractor is obviously definitely an essential work item, no question...

Tractor runs not really my bag. Was thinking more like 1000 acres of sunshine zero till with a frayed panama cowboy hat and a big set of ear defenders...

On second thoughts, perhaps it's not such a good idea after all!
