Temporary Straw bale sheep shed

I was wondering if any of you have done a temporary sheep shed for lambing using straw bales and a cover?

Needing something temporary for this year only.

Any pictures?

When are you lambing? What's your location?

I know a guy who used to make a few bale corral with big square bales, next to a building and had small pens inside.

Not ideal for early lambing but it did his job for March lambing at 1000 ft.
He had floodlights for night lambing.

He lambs later now outdoors.

It would depend on what type of cover, how you would keep it on,and get the rain water to run off without bulging the cover.

Always make a straw yard here with a small pole barn attached for pens but this year the pole barn cant be used so I'm going to lamb outside and build an area out of bales to put pens in for any problem cases, it wont have a roof as such just be out of the prevailing wind, time will tell how it works but I'm fairly confident!
