I see that it's the French National Institute of Demographic Studies who forecast this, they should get out into the rest of the world more.It is on course to be the worlds most spoken language by 2050.

About 300 million speak French and its the official language of 29 countries.I see that it's the French National Institute of Demographic Studies who forecast this, they should get out into the rest of the world more.
You didn't go anywhere in Africa thenspent two years travelling round the world,
french would have been of little use Spannish would have been a big help
Did you go with Overland?Yes cape to cairo had to miss sudan though couldn't get a visa
When I said with Overland , I meant the company.yes I did go overland, you mentioned africa, I said the world, most countries in the america's are spannish speaking however in lots of places it is only spoken as a second language. I wouldn't like to try crossing the atacama desert with just French or rural China were everyone under 25 loves to try their English on you.
Pity about the photos. It was quite a while ago before I had a digital camera so unfortnetley nothing I could put on here easily. According to google there is one country in Africa, Equatorial Guinea which has spanish as the official language (I didn't go there).
