Rivian have prototypes on the road now. They intend selling vehicles in the U.S. this fall (well, they did before Covid 19).

Their prototypes use differential drive control to achieve tighter cornering at speed on roads.

I'm not sure about that but they certainly can tighten curves at speed, according to one review I watched it feels incredible.

Unfortunately RHD orders are not normally taken until they have satisfied LHD markets preorders, and the Freemont factory is closed down for the virus. China is churning out Model 3s, but we do not know if they will move any Model Y production over there. Gigafactory Berlin is in progress, groundworks proceeding apace.
