Testing grain after harvest for nutrients

Does anyone do this? I tissue test during the growing season to get an idea of what deficiencies there are at the time but am still trying to ascertain what I'm missing to get the best out of the crop and soil as well as working on improving both as I go along. B and K are consistently short in plant tissue tests, with Mn, Mg, Cu and Zn less frequently short.

Briosel,
& what are your consequences on this?
not surprised to hear about B & K.
How about
N : S
N : K
ratio?
York-Th.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "consequences." What I'm hoping is to find out what the best growers analysis is and see where I'm lacking nutrients in the grain so can target foliar nutrition. Of course I'm working on soil health too, which will feed the plants in future but want to see how I can find trends in what I'm lacking now.

Tricky to compare when they are on the best silt in the East and I'm on high pH chalk in the South. The hardest bit is going to be finding out what benchmarks I can compare to.

As above, if you do a YEN entry, they do a grain sample for nutrient analysis. They also provide a fantastic set of metrics that compare your entry to the rest of the dataset. Well worth doing.
