My symptoms are classic what I have found with CCN, and with you talking about blindness wanted to rule that one in or out.

What did you quarantine it with when you brought it on, just so can rule out some more.

To be honest pneumonia or pasteurella is a good shout with the weather and the shock of the farm move, change in feed etc. I've never had a lot luck recovering ones with this, but ABs about all you can do I think. Was it on a heptavac system?

Only thing I can think is I shifted the tups into different field two days ago. Off old pasture into a silage aftermath. He was bought at a mv accreditation sale

Get him to your vet as soon as they open this morning. No good us all trying to guess IMO. Hope he comes right for you.

If it had half a chance it will snuff it then only consolation it’s the cheapest tup I’ve bought this time but would still expect it to last a bit longer

Glazed eyes suggests; New forest or pink eye. Inject 2ml alamycin into the lower eyelid of each infected eye. Orbenin topical eye cream also works if your screamish. Will clear up in a few days with vision returned.

Sounds like pink eye, as an aside we always used to get an odd ewe in winter snowy day etc going blind, but the last few years we have had a bit of a problem just about now, I did wonder if it had anything to do with the huge amounts of sewage sludge being incorporated on our neighbours fields, this year so far no problems, and by coincidence no sludge being used.

Careful with the alimycin, used it on ped texel last year after being out with ewes a few days. Didn't settle another ewe. Tested last week , back fertile

Yes he came from a sale I’ve had him to the vet this am. Temp fine lungs airways fine not breathing hard just blind and snottery, vet not entirely sure what it is so covered with antibiotics and jagged into eyelids . He was actually bit more perky this morning than last night after some nuflor. Good job he is my spare tup hopefully he will still do a job though
