Why do you need to put molasses on your hay? Just for extra va va boom? You already put some in your home mix don’t you ?
Would an ibc cage fit in it? Could be handy for going fencing, etc the rest of the year!

This is for feeding out to the singles. They'll not be getting any concs, just hay and a little dribble of molasses to make sure they clean it up

Had some ewes in Dumfries yesterday. 15 scanned empty and 6 which were still here from being drawn cull - and 2 tups.

The tups and some of the ewes should probably have went tomorrow (big store sale) but I wanted them gone so it made a decent load and I'm happy with that trade.

I've hoggs I hope to get away to the sale tomorrow but I need to see how many are walking :banghead: :bag:

Have you tried your new scanner yet?

I've scanned a few tags in the house just to check it's working and I hooked it upto my laptop... to find it isn't compatible - which I expected, because my laptop is about 11-12 years old and runs Windows Vista which stopped being supported about 5 years ago. I did manage to get it checked on another laptop with Windows 10, which the software worked fine on.

Once I get a new(er) laptop and have it set up, I'll have more of a play with the scanner and learn what I can do with it (the owners/instruction manual is on the scanner... so I can't even read how to use it until I get a laptop I can install the software onto)

Forgot to put this up at the weekend, had 40 store lambs at Dumfries on Friday

Very happy with that. I thought it was a single lamb at £96 but the line says it was a pen of 7 so that's even better! Still not sure why someone went to £16 for the 2... I would have been happy if they made £1

You're beating me lol. My lowest so far is £18 for a pen of 3 at CD earlier this month (and I lamb a month later 🤔). I may have some in the shed that will beat you though.
