I can’t see what anyone would save by having something bulky like a trailer built in China. It’s mostly flat panels and bent channel, pop riveted (or welded on proper trailers) into a box shape.

Not what I said - I was told the components of the trailer are made in China, but the trailer still 'built' in Wales.

An Ifor trailer as a flat-pack isn't bulky, you'd get plenty in a shipping container

Less useful than the 3D ceramics I watched being "printed" not long before first lockdown. I bet garage workshops will have 3D metal "printing" for certain vehicle spares before too long.

They have a few different factories in North Wales and deeside which might just about be in England and something in France. I'm pretty sure they don't have anything else. Hitches, lights or wheels or something they buy in already assembled that could be off any other trailer to bolt on might be Chinese I suppose.
