Yes, but you just know this one is going into TFF folklore. "Remember when @Nithsdale Farmer pulled off his tups..."

I do the same, mark the ewes on the right hip with the harness color, that leaves the left hip for scanning marks.I need my raddle marks to last until lambing so I use spray makers to back them up when I take the Rams out and if they need it I'll do it again at scanning
How are the ewes getting on cleaning it up, is it much of a problem? Just thinking about similar as have plenty bruised barley on farm but no whole. I spoke to our rep who said I'd have barley growing all over the place and in the same breath said he's got 18% rolls
I had been going to scan this year, but I have been struggling with illness and felt I had missed the chance by time I was healthy again).
Was it the worry of all those dopey Suffolk lambs making you ill?(I had been going to scan this year, but I have been struggling with illness and felt I had missed the chance by time I was healthy again).
@Nithsdale Farmer You could perhaps throw some soya in as they get closer to lambing? Hear good reports from a few folk who use it.
Sorry to hear that mate....hope you feeling better now & ready for them Suffolk bad boys!!
For God's sake next year shell out £9 for a flu jab from Tesco. Can't understand why more folk don't.Cheers. It was just the bloody flu that going round - nailed me for a good 2 and 1/2 weeks upto Christmas, then I got a second go of it after new year. Still not fully shifted it, but it's not affecting me anymore
More like powder, kind of like you've bruised barley too much. We get it in 25kg bags because we don't use much, but you can get it in tonne totes or a bulker load. Fed at 100g per lamb carried.I was considering it, or something similar. Never used it before - how does it come? Powder or pellet? Bags or bulk?
Pictures are always good. What levels are you feeding it at?

Inbye ewes are just onto it, they are getting 0.6lb/head. Hill ewes are on 1lb/head - going to step them upto 1.25lb/head though.
Currently watching the ewes like a hawk to make sure feed rates are OK - it is a better/more complete feed compared to what I usually use, so hopefully won't need to give them as much?
