I like playing at it but I've seen him guddling in the guts of Heiniger machines before and I'd be well out of my depths!..

Did consider opening myself up for sharpening - but I can't be doing with the shyte covered scrap I'd get given expected to work wonder on

Plus, I'm not enough of a people person 🤣

But hiy, if you send me your gear and a crate of choccy biscuits I'll sharpen them at a cheaper rate 👍
My shyte covered crap identifies as spotless gear you cheeky rascal ! But happy to forgive you for the cheap rate !

@Bill dog doesn't strike me as the sort of person who would clean his gear before sending it in 🤣🤣🤣

What's the sign he's got hanging up at the back of the shed - something along the lines of

"I can't sharpen rust, and the magnet doesn't stick to sh!t"
🤣

I seen some right mess landed in there for him to work on

I said a cheaper rate... never told you what my usual price is 😝

You don't want to sharpen other peoples gear. You'll get all the rusty shitty stuff and that doesn't sharpen properly first time and then they tell everyone your sh!t at it
Those rusty shitty combs will ruin all your papers because rust takes off the grit faster than anything sometimes a paper won't even do one comb and you know how much they cost! They'll then moan that your overcharging them and they wonder why they can never find anyone to sharpen their gear 🤦‍♂️🤬
Grinder papers are £3ish each for anyone who doesn't know.

Is that why you've not offered to sharpen my rusty old shite? 😝😝😝😝

Have you got your new stock trailer yet?!
Still a long long wait if you want a new iw,

Rather unexpected - I got my Nugent trailer 5pm last night!

Nugent have played silly buggers, as are all manufacturers really, with the rapid increases in price of all materials - and wouldn't stand on at the price I originally ordered at. Dealer phoned me the week I had Covid and broke that news to me and gave me the option to cancel or keep the order. They weren't happy with the situation and apologised... they hoped the trailer would be here this year but that's all Nugent would say in regards to a delivery time

So I was very surprised to hear Thursday that they had the trailer in their yard for PDI and number plate to be fitted and I could pick it up yesterday. Salesman gave me free reign in the shop to pick any item of work clothing I liked as a "sweetener" for the price increase. So I buy a Nugent livestock trailer and I've came home with Valtra overalls 🤣

Will need to see it in action to know properly but fundamentally it's a copy of an Ifor - but with lots of little improvements (IMO) and I think it'll be a stronger built.
A good walk round and bit play with it I'm very happy, brother and dad seem impressed too... dad's wanting a 2nd pickup now so we can shift 2 loads at a time 🤦🏻‍♂️

They can be a right pain when taking ewes and lambs out as gates won’t open inward like an Ivor . So ewes push past you as your trying to put another in.
