Rather unexpected - I got my Nugent trailer 5pm last night! Nugent have played silly buggers, as are all manufacturers really, with the rapid increases in price of all materials - and wouldn't stand on at the price I originally ordered at. Dealer phoned me the week I had Covid and broke that news to me and gave me the option to cancel or keep the order. They weren't happy with the situation and apologised... they hoped the trailer would be here this year but that's all Nugent would say in regards to a delivery time So I was very surprised to hear Thursday that they had the trailer in their yard for PDI and number plate to be fitted and I could pick it up yesterday. Salesman gave me free reign in the shop to pick any item of work clothing I liked as a "sweetener" for the price increase. So I buy a Nugent livestock trailer and I've came home with Valtra overalls 🤣 Will need to see it in action to know properly but fundamentally it's a copy of an Ifor - but with lots of little improvements (IMO) and I think it'll be a stronger built. A good walk round and bit play with it I'm very happy, brother and dad seem impressed too... dad's wanting a 2nd pickup now so we can shift 2 loads at a time 🤦🏻♂️
