Some very nice shots there, all very mainstream though.

Could do with some more unusual stuff, like the chicken last year sort of thing.

@waterbuffalofarmer got any nice pics of your buffalo? anyone got llamas? Pigs, ducks, geese

just to add a bit of variety. Get clicking we have till the end of the month I think to get it together.

Loved your selection of photographs but for a blend of reasons, some objective and some subjective, I liked some more than others. Number four, with the sheep coming in at sunset brings to mind that quote ''My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they follow me'' and the twenty-third psalm.

As an aside and probably out of place in this thread; I never realised just how much hard work and many problems sheep can bring to a farmer.

Many thanks for all the blood, sweat, and tears that all you good folk go through to put food on all our tables.

Stay safe, stay well, and keep up the photography.

Chris :)

PS...…….The look on mother sheep's face in pic number eight is a real eye catcher.

The sheep in the 8th picture was very distressed on my first check round. On closer inspection one of her new born lambs had fallen in the ditch and had crawled up the drainpipe. I’m stood in the ditch looking up at her. She seemed so happy when I gave her her baby back. Makes what we do worthwhile.

Some great pics; loved 1, 4, & 11. Great balance on eleven, with that rear-guard sheep looking back; or was it just that it was interested in photography?

A couple of nice pics but you may find that you can give such pics more impact if you move in closer, or crop for effect afterwards. Plenty of good photographic advice and guidance on tinternet; have look at the photographic rule of thirds, particularly in regards to landscapes ect.

Once you've learnt the rule of third, promptly forget it, as my photography teacher said to me.
